Immortality means to live forever and that will not happen What would be possible is to manipulate out genetic makeup so we will live 5-10 lifetimes.

There is a book by Ray Kurtzweil called "The Singularity is near". He says that within 30 years we will have a digital computer that can operate like a human brain only with the speed and precision of a computer. Then we will eradicate all diseases including aging.

NEVER. I mean we may get to a point where we can extend life indefinitely. It's probably only a matter of time. But accidents still happen. Death is inevitable. God will ALWAYS get the final say when your time is up.
