Do any of you know of someone that died from having a boil on their tushy? Have any of you gotten sick from a boil?

I have a boil about the size and shape of a very small banana on my right tushy cheek. Yesterday, it was starting to hurt when I would sit, now tonight, I actually feel feverish and fatigued. Do you think the two could be related?

It’s unlikely you’ll die from it, Waldo. A boil isn’t a deep tissue infection, so it’s unlikely it will get into your bloodstream but it can give you flu like symptoms if it is infected. Go to a walk in clinic and get antibiotics if you’re worried. They might even Lance it, if necessary, which is painful!

I would intentionally stop on the sidewalk in front of your house and “stretch”, I knew you were checking me out! Those deep knee bends hurt but we’re definitely worth the attention.

You might have an infection if you have a “boil” that big. See a doctor

you should probably go to the hospital for that. getting a fever after that might indicate something is really wrong.
