I am sick with a cough and fever. What’s your go to home remedy?

Ugh man, being sick is the worst! When I get a cough and fever I feel like total garbage. Usually what I like to do is just hang out in bed playing video games or watching Netflix pretty much all day so I don't have to move around too much. It sucks but it helps me rest and feel a little better.

For the cough and fever specifically, I always get this homemade remedy that actually seems to work pretty good. I’ll make like a big pot of chicken noodle soup cause the steam from it helps clear out my lungs and sinuses. Then crushes up some Dayquil pills and puts them in a big glass of orange juice for me to drink cause I hate how medicine tastes. The vitamin C from the OJ and whatever's in the Dayquil really brings my fever down and makes it a little easier to breathe.

I also puts one of those reusable heat patches on my back to help sweat the fever out. And i drink like hella water so I don't get dehydrated. Fresh air is also good too, so if it's not too cold out sometimes I'll sit by an open window to help with the congestion. Honestly just sleeping a lot and letting my body fight it off on its own is the best remedy though. Hopefully following my protocol makes you feel better soon! Being sick is the absolute worst.

Lemon tea, lots of water, a nice nap, and a warm shower.

I'm sick today too. I had what I thought was the flu yesterday, but I think that's been downgraded to a fever. My throat is itchy and dry, I've got really bad chills, and I've been feeling lightheaded and delirious. It's been so bad that I can barely pronounce some words correctly and I...

Soo for a fever, definitely pills. But for a cough is just mucus that got nowhere to go. And with that, just have some rest for a few days and you... I'm all good. :1 Soo... try it?

Tea. Water. Vitamin C supplementation, take some vitamin D. People get sick around this time of the year due to less sun exposure, which affects vitamin D levels
