Whether you lose or gain will depend mostly on whether you are in a calorie surplus or deficit. I eat about 300 grams of oats a day along with dinners and other snacks and my weight is always the same. If I wanted to gain I would need a surplus rather than a maintenance / deficit.

But this will also depend on how efficient your body is which will be closely linked to your thyroid health... which will be related to your iodine and selenium levels among other things. I only train every 2 days for 20-30 minutes doing isometric holds.

That depends on what the caloric sum total of the food is relative to what your body burns in a day.

For instance, if your metabolism only allows you to burn around 1,300 calories to maintain your weight with your current lifestyle & you go and eat 2,000 calories worth of oatmeal (along with anything you've mixed with it), then you're likely going to gain weight unless that metabolic rate changes somehow.

I put a couple of scoops in my protein shake. It is good carbs , helps digestion. it is filling. If you don't eat a lot of it I could see how you could loose weight. I put two scoops in an empty blender and reduce it to powder. Add two scoops of whey protein and orange juice.

I have been eating oatmeal since I was a kid. I haven't gained any weight from it. It's the healthiest food You can get without all the junk in it.
