    @kelly6

    Normally early to mid fifties.

    However it is not unknown for women in their 20's 30's & 40's to experience and suffer from the menopause, which is normally cause by many different underlying health issues.

    I became very ill 2000 I think I was 45. My illness stopped my periods and I never had another one since.

    But my mom was about 53. I remember talking with her about it.

    I am a man. I have talked to many women over the years. Menopause happens at different times for every woman. The normal range is between the mid 40's to late 50's. However, there are women who do a lot of pelvic floor exercise using special weights that tend to not really go through menopause. There are doctors who wish they would stop using those weights when doing the pelvic floor exercise; they do not understand how that reduces the effects of menopause. I do a lot of reading!!

    It varies a LOT, like a range of 15-20 years. The range is even larger if you count less than 1% of the population. I think average is early 50s. But that doesn't mean much since it varies so much.

    If you are 39, it is VERY unlikely. That would be an extreme case. On the other end, it's very unlikely, but possible to be 60 or later.

    50+ usually. But you can have periods for a long time too. Depends on when your body says it's time to stop.

    I'm no expert, but I understand menopause can start anywhere from mid 40s into a woman's 60s. From my experience, early 50s is fairly common.

    Whenever your body gets tired of having them. Or if there is some kind of outside interference. Such as chemotherapy or hysterectomy. I am sure that every woman is different.

    Mid 50's, usually. You've got about 15 years before the baby factory closes up for good. However, if you keep taking birth control pills, you'll keep having periods.

    I had thought at around 50 for most women. Anecdotally, I known women who began this particular multi-year affectation at 23, 32, 60 years old.
