Thankfully for me I've never had to get any stitches. But part of me probably would due to OCD if it bugged me enough and was safe.

Depends on the type of stitches. Some are self digesting and it only requires a soft pull. Others depends where they are

I’ve removed butterfly stitch strips myself, but I’ve always gone to doctors for proper removal with surgical stitches.
