Am I rude for not responding?

I always jog in the morning and before I reach my home Id walk past my neighbors house so everyday I jog and he always ask "did you jog?"
I always say yes but today its raining and cold and I need to pee I just want to go home and I was walking and he asked me again if I jog today I didn't respond. In my mind I say yes I jog but I didn't respond

A little but I don’t think that much. I say that because how many times has he asked you in the past? It’s usually safe to assume certain things. I mean if I was in a military u form or a cop uniform more than likely I’m a cop or a soldier. So I kind of think it’s a stupid question at the same time if everyone he sees you it’s just after you finished jogging.

Some people will say it's rude for him to bother you everyday. Some will say it's rude for you to ignore him. So it really depends on perspective.

If you feel like you did something wrong then apologize. If not, then don't. It should be up to you to decide. It's in a grey zone.
