I can't drive so I had to ask my friend to go to an event. When we got there, I asked if it's better to drop myself and my 8yo daughter at the entrance but she suggested that there'll be parking near the back. However she had to drive at least 100m to find parking, and I was extremely upset and I began yelling at her for making my 8yo daughter walk for that long.

Does your 8 year old have two legs? Not sure why your 8 year old daughter needs the luxury of getting dropped off if she is capable. Yes that is unreasonable and rude to teach your daughter to be lazy

My husband would always drop our daughter closer, so we're used to that. Anyway, she said "that's ur husband, and he'd obvs think of her best interest, I'm someone else, you can't expect me to only think of your convenience."

by the way, for the question of "does she have 2 legs"- yes, she does, a lot of toddlers do and they can walk too, but their parents still carry them around. It was also alittle rainy that day and we don't like straining her.

It was close to 2 minutes of walking. My husband always makes sure not to strain our daughter. Her logic was that that's because he's my child's father, obviously he'd think of her best interest, but she can't just think of her convenience when she's driving and an 8yo isn't a toddler.
