Here are a few tips on how some people seem to improve drastically at a sport in a short amount of time:

- Dedicated practice: They're practicing every single day, even when they're tired. Going hardcore and doing drills/skills for hours to rapidly improve their technique.

- Getting private lessons: Some of these dudes shell out big bucks for a top coach to give them 1-on-1 attention and customize training just for them. Help fix their flaws.

- Filming themselves: They record each session and review footage to see what they're doing right or wrong. Make micro-adjustments to their form.

- Increased athleticism: A lot of them have been doing sports or working out seriously for years, so they come in with an athletic base. Then they focus all that talent on one spot.

- Natural talent: Face it dude some guys are just gifted. But even they had to put in the mega hours to maximize what they were born with.

- Competitive drive: They eat, sleep, breathe winning. Nothing will stop them from achieving their goal of destroying at tournaments. Full try-hard mode!

It's rare but some people can level up that fast if all the stars align. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard and all that.
