Is anyone here taking Lithium or Hydroxyzine? what are/were your side effects?

Taking both, and just started taking them twice a day instead of once a day. This is my third day of taking it twice daily. But even when I take them with food and a drink it makes my stomach hurt a lot and it upsets it, also just makes me feel uncomfortable and nauseated. Hoping it won’t last long because I feel like crap and it’s hard to leave the house without having stomach pain to where I can multiple bathroom trips or feeling like tossing the cookies.

If you're on lithium you should be closely monitored by your doctor for signs of toxicity because it's a high risk drug.
Something like stomach pain could be a sign of toxicity so keep a close eye on it. If it doesn't settle see your doctor.

Hydroxyzine is just a strong antihistamine, so it's main side effects are drowsiness.

Yes my psych dr sees me every two weeks, and will be getting blood work often. GI issues are a side effect. Lately the pain is only in the morning or during the night

Probably not. Side effects would go away in a few weeks, and I’ll wait til bloodwork
