Where does kidney pain locates in the body?

My lower abdomen always aches I was thinking maybe because Im dehydrated I always forget to drink water I only drink 5 glasses of water everyday

Where, specifically? Kidney pain would usually be in the back, not the front. If it's midsection, it could be intestinal, it could be appendix (would you'd need to get fixed ASAP), it could be gall bladder (which won't kill you, but will make you wish it would just to get it over with already), or something else.

Kidney pains are usually located between your hip and rib cage. But they mostly are located on your back.

In the mid/upper left or right back. Sometimes when I’m dehydrated I feel some pain in my tailbone or groin area (Turned out I had some minor kidney stones)

Your kidneys are closer to your lower back then the front.
