How did you hand lockdown during the pandemic?

I fell into Depression. I like being around people.

It was the most peaceful two years of my life. Finally, no one wanted to meet in person. I could make everything work just by using my phone and email.

I missed my family and friends, but we survived and talked daily on video calls

It made little difference to us. The only thing we noticed in that we couldn't go in cares and restos. Shopped every day. Plenty of exercise.

I learned just how fragile people's commitment to civilized behavior was. I saw twelve people I cared about die needlessly. I heard thoughtful, intelligent people watch those deaths and call for more. I watched thousands of years of medical and scientific progress tossed aside in the name of fearmongering and propaganda, all to contain a disease less dangerous than chicken pox.

I turned my back on the world that had turned its back on me, abandoning everyone and everything and fleeing halfway across the country. The damage done by the lockdowns will never be calculated- if it even CAN be- because that would mean admitting that we, not as a society but as individuals, made a terrible mistake, despite knowing better. It would mean placing blame not in politicians or institutions, but ourselves.

But I don't want to spend the rest of my life getting apologized to, and the other opposition people I know don't either. We just want to make sure this will never happen again. But that was the hope after Srebrenica. And after Rwanda. And after Somalialand. And after Darfur, and East Timor, and pretty much the whole history of Burma. It will only change when enough people learn.

It sucked, definitely a depression thing but we had to work and get on with it, overcoming interaction was fun lol. There are a lot of people still suffering from lockdown depression and impact on their lives
