I had a whole bunch of home improvement projects done. I replaced all the trim on my house with PVC, I didn't want to put the old dented gutters over the brand new trim I had new gutters installed, I resurfaced my deck with plastic decking. I had the old concrete steps that came with the house. I went over the whole thing with the same plastic decking. I replaced my sump pump and bought a plastic sump tub and bought a new pump and re-plumbed it. I replaced all the shrubs in the front of my house, I bought a new washing machine and pulled apart the laundry closet, painted it, installed shelving and put up a new LED light, replaced the dryer vent. I'm sure there was more.
That's awesome, my homie 😊🤙
I've not done anything because I've been working every day since the pandemic started.
However, I have started to paint a little..
After realizing that the perfect time to start is right now, I started saving for my dream trip and I'm very close to complete my chosen amount.
Also, all the home office made me take my time with cooking and baking, and yes, food made with love is much better.
Jealous! The Maldives are on my list. I got hazard pay for 3 months and used that to get out of debt and then save to go to The Grand Canyon and Las Vegas for my husband's law school graduation. And I saved enough (I hope) for a good downpayment for a house.

I would say health-wise! I know a lot of people gained weight but for me was quite the opposite. Since I was consistently going out to party and drink while I was working out, i saw improvement but not as much. Covid made me stop partying for a while and drinking as well (I am a social drinker only). With that being said I had also purchased my own gym equipment and had a gym at home so was always working out and eating good so I saw a huge improvement in my gains.
I started streaming at the very beginning and it's almost been a year at this point, i really really enjoy it. The person that i am on stream is the one i would like to be outside of streaming but I'm just to awkward. Not having to look people in the face just relieves that stress factor. Probably will continue to do it for a long time
Save up money.
I usually don't save a lot, but when I got axed on my previously new job (I was like 2-3months in and enjoying it but company got hit hard) - it made me realize the importance of saving.
Goal is to live comfortably for a minimum 1 year without work.
Comfortably means enough food, enough money to pay bills, a little hobby here and there and emergency money incase I get sick.
Stopped drinking completely,
Fatty foods, being a lazy slob.
Joined a gym, lost weight, grew a beard and longer hair, mastered swimming.
From 130kgs to 100kgs. My goal is 80kgs.

Nothing. I've had to work 7 days a week for the last year and a half. Now i get to watch all that money slowly disappear as we are on strike to ensure we can put an end to the rampant overtime abuse policies at work. So for me the last year is just a wash.
Resting mentally. When the world shut down, I was able to mentally slow down and just breathe. It was much needed. I got a break from the regular pace of life.
I accomplished getting a few hobbies started and getting all the tools necessary for those hobbies, spending time with my best friend, working all year, and continuing to move strong in the direction I want my life to go in. I used and continue to us my time very well and productively. I dont let fear stand in my way any more to accomplish the the things I want in my life.
I completed my Ph. D desertation, found the love of my life, went to bible school and did a mindblowing evangelism like I haven't done ever before.

Nothing, I can name a massive list of things I would've accomplished if it weren't for the plandemic though
I learnt how to play the piano, did a bunch of online courses that I liked.
Most importantly, I was able to cut off toxic people in my life.
Taught myself dividend and crypto investing.
So far the crypto is all over the place but the stocks are solid.

Thank you. i just decided to go back and finish my masters.
I was thinking about that too for sometime now. Did you go for full-time?
Yes, online. It was a lot easier do to covid
And that's why I am trying to get it offline. Somehow I miss the touch, how did you feel about it?
I felt things were a lot easier during covid. Didn't have to go in and do clinical. Virtual labs online too
