Why is everything spinning around all of the sudden when I stand up?

My aunt went to pick me up from work after I called her. Last week I was on a five day fasting then this week a 4 day fasting Last night I my vision was off that everything was spinning around and I almost felt but my aunt was hable to cought me I was conscious of my what was going on. It stop once my aunt set me down on the couch and a glass of water made the spinn8ng Stop. I didn't think much of it I blame it on just being tired. Now I am at the hospital doctor is running some test and yet I have not received an answer as to why when I rise my vision spinns around. What could bebthe reason? Its been hours since doctor took some blood test still no answer at all.

Sounds like labyrinthitis. It's an inner/middle ear condition. I get it periodically and use Serc - Betahistine dihydrochloride - for about 2 weeks while it clears up.

It's a point that like most medications this treats the symptoms and not the cause of the vertigo. The vertigo itself is sorted out by the immune system.

Doctors can't treat the cause because they don't know exactly what the cause is.

There are a few possibilities. The fasting is a likely reason - low blood glucose. If you get dizzy standing up your blood pressure could be low and as drinking water seems to have helped this could be it. You could have an inner ear infection.

The doctor will run tests and if they don't confirm what he thinks might be the problem he will need to run others in a process of elimination.

You need to be patient.

Low blood sugar, low fat reserves = low energy. After/during fasting this is normal to most people, especially people of regular weight.

Listen, starving yourself until get delirious or you have to go to the hospital is not going to make you communicate with god any better, if there is even a god at all. People who starve themselves until they are delirious and think they are communicating with god are the same as people who think they talk to god when they are high on drugs. It's just your brain doing crazy shit from being in an altered state and ina state of chemical imbalance where it should not be. There's no need to jeopardize your health in the name of religion, prayer, etc. If there is a god , why would he or she or it want you to harm yourself in their name or to communicate? Staximus Thank you I will consider your abvice. I've notice this religous chruch attacked their members when they live. I just got of the phone with the pastors wife they made up lies about me for steping out of the church. I here to help and serve people in general. A lot of gossip whats even the point.
