Are you hydrated, dehydrated. Do you know the effects of dehydration, and how serious. How can you tell?

Recently had blood work done and my "kidney function" was decreased? Excess Creatinine in my blood. WTF I thought! Doctor sent me to a Nephrologist to find out. Seems I am dehydrated, and did not realize it. Most of my fluid intake was from coffee, fresh fruit and wine at night (not to excess) Probably not taking in more than 12 ounces of water daily.

When you get up in the morning, try to drink a minimum of 16 ounces of water over a period of 15 minutes... than wait... how much urine do you excrete when your bladder says it needs emptying. If you pass VERY LITTLE urine out of the 16 ounces of water drank, your body took in all of that water, to use, and not excrete. Probably means you need more water intake. I am trying to intake a minimum of 32 ounces of water daily or more in the form of other fluids.
