So I’ve been experiencing hair loss around my hair line, and now I know it’s hair loss. I do shed frequently but I was like this in HS so just thought it was normal. And quite recently noticed my hairline was more pronounced. I do have a little high testosterone levels. I have irregular periods.. I can’t remember when my last one was. I took birth control but stopped due to loss of insurance. I do have a dry, flaky scalp which you can see in the photos. The specks of dandruff. I noticed my scalp is scabby. I went into the dermatologist a year ago and they gave me medication for my hair but it burned and my scalp was super sensitive, so I stopped using it.

I’m only 26, I shouldn’t be experiencing this so soon.. my mom’s side has very thick hair and my uncles still have their hair and didn’t experience balding. My grandma on my dad’s side had thick hair, but my cousin was experiencing thinning hair and my aunt had alopecia but she was the only one.

I don’t have the best diet either, I try to eat eggs every morning for breakfast. I had avocado toast this morning…
