So I’ve never had this issue before in a major way at least. But a well or two ago I fell asleep while laying in my stomach and it destroyed my lower back it’s been in pain since it was worse at first and has eased up a bit but it’s still bothering me. I read online that laying in you’re stomach messes with the alignment if you’re spine but I’m not sure what to do it’s been about two weeks and it’s still bugging me and way to help get me back to normal I don’t want this to become a long term issue.

I wonder if a visit to a chiropractor would help to realign and put things back the way they were.
That's what I would do. Probably only one visit should do it.
But get x-rays of your back/spine to take with you. A good chiropractor shouldn't do anything to you unless they've seen your X-rays first.
It will all be worth it in the end🙂
Here are some things you can try for your lower back issue:
- Ice it. Get an ice pack or even just a bag of frozen peas and gently apply it to your lower back for 10-15 mins a few times a day. The cold helps reduce inflammation.
- Stretch gently. Very carefully do some basic stretches like cat/cow, child's pose, laying on your back and bringing one knee to your chest. Listen to your body - go slow.
- Foam roll. Use a tennis ball or foam roller on your back muscles. Lie on it and roll back and forth over tender spots. Hurts so good!
- Watch your posture. Stand and sit up straight to avoid putting more strain on your back. Put a book under your laptop if sitting a lot.
- Take an anti-inflammatory. An Advil or Aleve may help bring down swelling if it's really bugging you.
- Apply heat. After a few days of ice, try a heating pad on your back to soothe sore muscles.
- Rest it. Try not to do anything too strenuous that involves a lot of bending or lifting until it feels better. Don't overdo it.
Hope some of those tricks help relieve it, bro. If it's still really bad after a month, maybe tell your parents you wanna get it checked. But give it some time to heal first naturally. icing and stretching should do the trick!
Two weeks? Go to the doctor dude.
I am not wasting a check up for something that’s now minor pains when I go to pick something up not worth the bill
Then suffer genius.
