I didn't have an appetite after my boyfriend died six months ago.
I have gone without eating for weeks when tragedy strikes me.
So, instead of not eating at all, I have the same thing everyday because I don't want anything else or I'll GaG on it.
So, everyday my friend goes to Subway sandwich shop and buys me a 12" with fried eggs, 2 whole sliced avacados🥑 and mayonnaise.
I also get a bowl of plain mashed potatoes from KFC - comfort food.
It's kept me alive so far 👍
Condolences for your loss! And hope you recover from it!
@Mr_twoface
Thank you for your kind words. I don't think a person ever recovers from loosing the love of their life to death because it's so final. You'll never ever see that person again.
I'm not hysterical or anything. But he is on my mind most of my waking hours. š
Sorry, my wording was off. I meant more making peace with the fact that your love is gone and cherish the beautiful and positive times together. Remember them for what they were and continue to live for them by taking care of oneself, by eating, resting and coping with day to day activities so that there memories can continued to be shared and remembered š«¶
@Mr_twoface
Absolutely šÆ true!!
Thank you š
I eat to live, I do not eat to get pleasure. Some foods are pleasurable, but they are chosen for health reasons. Even when I eat for pleasure, I still consider health. At my last trip to Wendy's I did not put condiments on my burger cause Dr. Berg says you should not eat fat and sugar in the same meal unless your sugar is unprocessed such as an apple or carrot that has no chemicals added to it.
I've gotten a lot more conscious of it in recent months. I always thought I was pretty good, but I had a come to Jesus moment a little while ago where I realized that I eat/used to eat a lot of bullshit 😂
No mo' country fried steak for this boy. They say that abs are made in the kitchen and not the gym. It's time for me to get real about that.
Yes, 95% of the time.
Zero sugar is almost a must for me. If possible I'd go zero sugar all the way with everything.
However every now and then I crave and indulge in a Krapfen or a McMenu.

yes... except for the moments when, because of stress, I forget to eat...
Yes. I canāt stand fast foodsā¦ so we get our foods from local farmers ā¦ we also avoid big supermarketsā¦we really donāt need 99% of the stuff thereā¦
we get meat, milk, eggs from the farmersā¦ if we canāt grow our own veggies/fruits then we get from the market in the winter.
hubby can make yogurt from fresh milkā¦ so we eat very basic.
we do eat some junk food sometimesā¦ but only like 5-10% of the timeā¦
So, I used to stress over portion sizes, macro allocations, eating windows, etc. Then I stopped competing, but those habits haven't left. I'll still choose bakers chocolate 100% cocoa over Hersheys, not because its healthier; I just think it taste better
Iām thankful I donāt have a sweet tooth. Generally speaking, I eat a well balanced diet because I like lifting and I find it hard to workout when l havenāt eaten enough or not the right kinda foods.
Yes. I eat for the energy & nutrients I need. I weigh everything I eat & make sure that I'm eating within the portion size relative to my goals.
Ofc, there is no other choise! I'm very conscious when i eat, doesn't really matter what it is, just the spiritual practise is essential in order to stay eternal. I went 37 days without food and 7 days without water and after that i became an eternal God. I learned the secrets of the universe. And no, i won't tell you lol. All i can say is good people live, and evil people die. That is one of the laws of nature. Perhaps the most essential.
For me it's a sometimes. I'll decide what to eat if I know what I might be having for my dinner. And then I'll decide on a snack (which is usually unhealthy).
for the most part, yes...
eat fresh, eat balanced... eat at home
the less processed the better
Probably too much. I agonize too much about my diet, lmao. But at my age, one false move, and your shirt has to stay on at the beach😅
I gave up refined sugar back in November and stick to pretty much a Keto diet mon-friday, but even when I splurge on the weekends, I check. For example, at Firehouse subs, I was torn between two subs but chose the one with fewer calories.
Yes, I always try to balance protein, carbs, fiber and fats and drink enough water. I have chest days though and if I eat cake or drink soda, I don't overthink it.
Yes, I try to limit carbs and recently I have cut way back in Pepsi. I just have it when I eat out which is only once or twice a month.
I have always been conscious about what I eat. Even more so now that I have health issues.
If u don't mind what's ur issues
Estrogen related? Birth cintroool pills can shut down your natural estrogen levels. Leading to all kind of problem long term... just fyi you might need an estrogen cream if you ever took hormonal birth controol
Oh ok
Sort of.
I do pretty good but once in a while...
So either people here eat more healthy than average or this is a case of stated Vs revealed preference.
not really, no. everything in moderation.
