Critical thing to do. And try to stretch in the opposite direction that your body usually keeps throughout the day. Since most of us are humped over computers, humped over patients, humped over keyboards, humped over tools, etc. stretching backwards to open up the chest, and retract the shoulder backwards are very helpful.

I get up every 30 to 40 mins and stretch, walk around if I am in the office. I walk the dog before work, on my lunchtime and after dinner every day to stretch my legs.
