Sometimes I wake up shaking uncontrollably like I'm cold. I thought it might have been because I'm a little bit underweight. To be safe I went to the doctor but everything is normal. I tried sitting in the shower to help and it did, makes it go away quicker. Yes I've been cold before but not to point where I'm shaking uncontrollably.
Anybody else have this issue or am I just weird?

I would ask for a consultation rather than just the doctor. It could be neurological and it just appears like it’s from being cold.
Also the age and type of mattress may influence this, for example sleeping on a bit that causes a pressure point.
It's a good thing I live in Canada maybe I'll try to see if I can talk to a neuro person
Yeah, it’s always worth getting a 2nd review on this type of thing.
Yeah, that’s your core body temperature lowering because you were asleep. I’ve dealt with the same thing from time to time. When you sleep, your heart rate lowers alongside your oxygen intake as your body prepares to rest, which in turn lowers your body temp from the usual 98 degrees to something more around 96 or 95. When you wake up in the middle of the night, or maybe a little too soon from sleep, sometimes you tremble and shudder.
Anxiety or malnutrition. If you are under weight you aren't getting proper nutrition.
