Yes the father's sperm is the DNA that grows the placenta so it can cause many issues with that like pre eclampsia if the dad is old. Also older sperm is the main reason for miscarriages. They use to blame the mom but turns out it's mostly the dad's fault. And for the kid older dad's are more likely to pass down issues like adhd/autism.

Personally i am having all my kids before my husband turns 30 just to avoid these risks and if I become a surrogate I will refuse older fathers
