+1 yBecause 125 tons of debris is falling from space onto the planet every day, increasing the planet's gravity field and making me heavier without gaining an ounce, and the government decided that murdering Russians by funding the Ukrainian government is more important than space-exploration weight loss.

+1 yI don't want to lose weight. I want to gain weight. I could use about 15 pounds of muscle, then I'm a happy camper. I'm pretty satisfied with where I am now in terms of definition, but I'd definitely prefer more size.

Because I'm pretty much within a couple of pounds of being at a healthy weight given my height and body build.

- +1 y

- +1 y
could you elaborate on that? lol
- +1 y
He said you are fat.
- +1 y
@idonotlikeyou thick, maybe...
- +1 y
nothing to be proud of
- +1 y
@idonotlikeyou not about pride though...
you might find out one day, lol - +1 y
@NathanDavis
I see that you take everything literally, at least when it concerns you. You lack a bit of distance from yourself. I suspect that weight issues might be contributing to this. Sometimes it's worth working on yourself rather than deceiving yourself and everyone around you. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou people who suspect on others they really don't nothing about now... that's something to work on
seems like the distance between advice and self-realization has to yet be covered, here...
good luck with that (= - +1 y
@NathanDavis
Without certain information, the only thing we can do is suspect, guess, or assume the missing data. This is a natural mechanism of our brain. Denying its existence and usefulness will raise suspicions of yet another defense mechanism in the impeccable Mr. Davis. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou to follow suspicion, even if leads to wrong... that's a need and a choice
not a defense mechanism - +1 y
@NathanDavis
Of course, one of the likely scenarios is that our assumptions or suspicions will turn out to be wrong. And it is completely natural to change them when evidence of their incorrectness emerges. But so far, there is no evidence that my assumptions are wrong. So the natural choice is to stick to them until better ones come along.
And I mentioned the defense mechanism in the context of your rejection of the usefulness of suspicions in situations where full information is lacking. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou so.. how fat do you "suspect" that I am
and what's the basis for such guesstimate, or assumption... - +1 y
@NathanDavis
Forgive me, Nathan, but even if I make assumptions due to lack of data, it doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot trying to create a new reality. My assumptions are limited to stating that you are overweight without going into details about how much or why. I base this on your reaction to what the question author wrote and to what I wrote. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou actually... you're kind of right
at least, according to the BMI standards I am, overweight...
- +1 y
@NathanDavis
It doesn't surprise me that "I am kind of right."
Congratulations on your impressive height. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou thank you, but I didn't do anything for it... lol
now, the athletic built... that's just the natural consequences of 25 years in recreational sports - +1 y
@NathanDavis
An athletic build does not mean crossing the line into being overweight. In bodybuilding, this is obviously normal, but those idiots stuff themselves with chemicals for unnatural muscle mass growth. With natural sports, or recreational, as you called it, without supplement support, the chance of overproducing muscles is zero.
I don't intend to play your parent or partner; all I'm doing is providing information and raising doubts. I can also throw out keywords like 'thyroid' or 'liver.' But what you do with this information is your decision and choice. - +1 y
@idonotlikeyou definitely not interested on overproduction, no... my body works for efficiency, not the looks at the mirror
about the rest... the doctors take care of that - +1 y
BMI is useless. Use bodyfat%
- +1 y
around 14% and it means nothing as well...
- +1 y
No. It means that it's impossible that you're fat. And you've a high BMI at 14% boyfriend means that your FFMI is good too.
Maybe you don't brush your teeth or you have a bad personality. - +1 y
I go to the dentist twice a year... just for routine, no work needed so far
as for personalities, that's a matter of perspective, I guess... lol
but, my personality was never an issue on any of my years lasting relationships... so let's keep guessing for now
