you are trying to understand yourself and so should do some reading on the brain, trauma, personalities, and God to broaden understanding. You'll get opinions but unless they are a Phd Psychologist with religious training, not sure they know. My opinion based on what I think I know:
doubt it, that's just a label and maybe you are prone to ADHD because of your mind. Society loves to stick labels on things so they can assign a drug to sell to it.
it's how your brain is wired together, you are probably very emotional. It may be you have a relative like this and such traits passed on. Trauma (e. g. life's emotional training) can be passed on genetically or by your training. It's your history. The other angle is this is how you were made. If you have strong emotional feelings you may have capacity for strong empathy and compassion once developed. These are very powerful ability to connect with other humans/animals, feel their pain and quite possibly, heal them. These are called spiritual gifts, once developed.
As it is, your brain is super active and may ber hard to focus. Add to it you are a girl and your hormones vary in the month since around 13ish, and so some days you are really focused and other days are hard to focus.
So in general, I think you are excitable because of how your brain is wired, your diet (e. g. some foods can screw up your brain gut causing bad emotional state... e. g. corn, wheat, etc.), your habits (social media, emotional abuse, music, videos, etc.), your spirituality, hormones. You can influence this and put it in a positive direction and manage it. We all have to manage ourselves.
I'm not saying videos cause ADHD... I'm saying it's a complex brain... very powerful one... that you learn to make the most of.
if you want suggestions what to read or study or think about more, lmk.
I think anytime somebody goes to a doctor and gets diagnosed with something like this you have to take a couple steps back and don't look at it as something that should hold you back look at it as something that's going to make you go forward because when you're diagnosed with this with anything really. That is considered maybe negative in society I say fuck society most people that I know that have been diagnosed with this.
Or any other label they are more than smart enough in all other areas they are talented they're wise they have a strength like you would not believe so just look at it as like a label that somebody has given you and just be yourself don't worry about what a doctor said worry about it who you are and what you want to be because that's the true outcome that's the true beauty of you
Thank you for your comment, but I don't see this diagnosis as a label. The doctor helped me understand the problems I couldn't understand in my life for a long time, and thanks to this, I started to draw a path for myself on how to overcome my problems. For years, I thought that my attention deficit was completely related to me. But even though I worked hard, I often couldn't get any results because it was as if my brain was created to focus on too many things. I focus on so many things unintentionally, that's why my attention gets distracted a lot. There have been many things about myself that I can't control since my childhood, but now I've started to find solutions for myself to change some of the things that are going wrong in my life because I've stopped blaming myself for the difficulties I experience. Psychiatrists and psychologists are there only to guide people. I trust the science of psychology.
I think that's cool I think anything positive that comes from it or that you can see coming from it will do nothing but good for you . And once you accept it and acknowledge it and take it on that's what it's all about you can't let it hang you up or anything you take it all on no matter what it is in life take it on that's how we learn that's how we grow
And you should also go to Google ask what an empath is and take the test there and see if you're an empath because I would say you are and that would explain a lot of things going on in your life too
You should ask your therapist and doctor to explain to you that you are deficient in Dopamine in your brain due to a birth defect that can be seen on an MRI.
It's not just a label. There's a lot more that you need to know about ADHD to fully understand exactly what physical defect in your brain is making you act like a person who has ADHD.
When you are deficient in Dopamine (where your pleasure center is) then you are constantly trying to get dopamine some how. It can be a struggle always trying to find something to make your pleasure center satisfied.
There's another neurotransmitter I believe it is epinephrine that is also affected in people with ADHD.
Try to learn as much as you can about these aspects of having ADHD and you will understand it much better.
Good luck to you!

Where does the "excitable" part end, and the ADHD begin? A professional exam is needed to deal with this continuum.
ADHD just means your brain is hardwired different. Usually at a higher pace than neurotypical types. We seem more excitable simply because we get to the solution faster, then get bored waiting for everyone to catch up and go on a three day mental break to Barbados.
Being a different person is a very difficult thing.
That or some people may be bipolar or be schizoid or autism undiagnosed. Or traits.
I don't know I'm no doctor. I sometimes think maybe I'm just ordinary or I'm an oddball 😋🫣
Ok, you are good. This could be a hidden advantage for you. Learn to use it. I just don’t care for the blue hair. lol
