Am I being an ahole?

I no longer like my physical therapy location because the workers are constantly chit chatting and I feel like I'm interrupting them when I have questions about the next exercise.

1. A few years ago, I had physical therapy for knee pain and it was me and the therapist working one-on-one. I liked that approach.

2. Now, I have a sports injury and my new therapist has several patients at once and a few interns rotating.

3. While I'm completing exercises, the interns chit chat and occasionally the PT joins the conversation. Everyone is friendly, however, I find it annoying that I can hear their conversations and I need to butt in to ask a question.

4. I started wearing one ear bud to ignore them which was helpful until one of them asked my opinion on whatever topic they were discussing. I had to tell them that I wasn't listen. Lol, which resulted in a bunch of dumbfounded faces.
