Am I Being delulu?

So the guy I like is a German Exchange student and I've met him since the 1st day of school. Me and him were talking 2 or 3 times a week before I asked my friend to give him a letter that had me confessing to him and she told me he has a girlfriend. This was the beginning of school. 4 weeks later, she asked him again and they said he was still with his girlfriend, but 2 weeks later me and him walked to our lockers and I waited for him and me and him walked to the outside door. He then pats me on the back and goes "See ya later." The next few weeks he talked to me more and kept keeping contact with me, watching what I did on my Chromebook and my subtle movements. He also asked about my day/practice and I told him about our school therapist and told him I wish that the therapist would take me out of my 4th block and he asked if I was ok. He knows a lot about me and I know a lot about him I gave him a gift of candy and money and he took it and he also likes to laugh at my jokes and smile at me. Also today I got out of practice and I saw him outside and he was on the phone speaking German and he saw me and I waved at him and he started talking to me and he asked me how was my band practice and I told him it went well and he saw I had beef jerky and asked me about it. He is really sweet and likes to help me with my German work and math. He even said, "If you ever need help with German just ask me." Last but not least I asked him to help me with our German script and the bell rang yet he stayed and corrected it and he had 3 minutes left to go to class. I said I don't want you to be late and he said and I quote. "Don't worry, it's fine." Does he Like me or am I... being delulu... P. S. I still don't know if he has a girlfriend because I'm too scared to ask him because I don't want to ruin the relationship between me and him. (Sorry I rant a lot) TvT
