    at the firehouse we have what is referred to as gallows humor.
    It has been proven that it does reduce stress.
    To an outsider if they heard what we say they would think we are the most uncaring people on the planet, but it is a very good coping mechanism.
    Or I go for a nice long motorcycle ride to nowhere in particular, eat lunch find and ice cream stand and keep riding.
    For me it is good for the soul.
    Or sometimes I get laid.

    A couple different ways first I think about what I'm stressed about and is it something that just happened this moment or is it something that could happen if it's something that could happen I let it go because I have to wait for that moment in order to be stressed about it why be stressed before it happens because it might not happen that way

    And if it's because of something I did or might have done if I'm in the right I don't stress about it if I hurt somebody's feelings I might talk to that person and say hey I apologize for whatever

    Most most other stresses I just work I start getting busy and I clear it from my head or I try to or I masturbate masturbation will fix everything LOL to a point for a moment anyway but it makes you relax and if there's nothing you can do about something there's nothing you can do about it except for it acknowledge it and deal with it that's about it but it all depends on what the stress is because all stressfull things are you deal with them differently or at least I do

    By working out in very intense ways. Ideally to muscular failure on many sets. And if the stress is really bad, I'll be listening to some scary as music as I do it. Because if I don't let my shadow have it's time in a controlled environment, I risk it coming out in other environments when someone tests me a bit too much.

    Ride my bike along the neighborhood street to feel the wind on my face and listen to the crickets chirping.

    Fly an airplane to the base of a cloud, open the window, reach outside and touch the face of god

    Enjoy a hot cup of coffee while playing jazz on a piano on a rainy day

    Read a story with my kids, changing my voice for the characters and listening to them giggle

    There’s beauty in life that’ll make the stress pale in comparison You have to want to see it

    YouTube movie scenes.

    I quite like the argument scenes in The Break Up movie and the Vince Vaughn interview more recently reflecting on how the characters were written in a realist, reflective way and properly mirroring a typical couple of that age bracket of the time the movie was made and still relevant today.

    Among other habits. YouTube, Pepsi, water, shower, a peaceful walk, quiet time, etc etc :) the mall

    I think generally people put more stress on themselves than would ever come their way but I never always thought like that , I guess life experience can help you deal with stress correctly. What has been good for me in the past has been exercise

    Sometimes me being forgetful has its own benefits too, in these kind of stressful situations. I usually just forget about it.. then I fall asleep. 🤣

    I no longer have the energy to really bother, but if sleeping it off isn't an option, then I just drive, and drive. No destination, no thoughts.
