What's worse than getting sick before Thanksgiving?

Hopefully I'll be better next week, and honestly I'd rather be sick now than later. I have too many things to prepare, and don't want to get guests/family sick. The Influenza Type B is coming around here now, some folks I know have had it. I don'r know if that's what I have, but I have. slight headache and a stuffy head, strong cough. Feeling cloudy headed. Hope it doesn't get you.

It's a cruel world out there genuinely at times how there's much happiness in the world and the world can also be full of so much: risk. Risk, risk, risk ⚡🌩️ sigh 😞

I'm sure there are plenty of other worse things. I'm just saying, in general--what are things that could happen around the holidays that make them miserable. Thanks for your response--that is absolutely the worse. Let me add, having a family member disappear without a trace. That happened to a family from Germany when their son went missing in Japan. Authorities found him a month later--in a river. :(((

Getting sick the night before your wedding. Didn't happen to me but to a guy friend of mine. Rumor has it that the combination of the food and beer he had at his bachelor party the night before gave him food poisoning.

I was once sick in a car driving to Florida around the 4th of July. I had a fever and slept through the fireworks there. I had the flu and didn't know it. No wonder I was feeling so miserable. In a car, for 24 hrs too.
