I don’t get sick easily, but probably it was a cold or something slight like that
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI almost never get sick and when I do it's like a day or 2 and ver mild.
the year before covid existed to the world through the media, the Christmas BEFORE that year, I believe I had covid and build anti bodies for it. I remember I got a normal cold and then it got worse, much worse. I never take drugs/pills or any antibiotic/drug for pain because I let my body do what it needs to do, our bodies are the bEST doctors.I only resort to some pain meds when I see it's been too long and the pain is actually depriving me of sleep then I'll take something to help me sleep because sleep is the BEST medicine and if you can't get any, then your'e gonna stay sick longer, common sense.
Anyhow!
that winter was hell. I remember I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep I couldn't do anything really I couldn't breathe and I had the essential oils eucalyptus and some other I forget the name, coming out from the little pot that releases the scent so that it would help me breathe and I had it right near my face for hours! it was the only way I could breathe
on the 3rd day I took pill because the pain wasn't letting me sleep, I had body aches alllll over my body, what I had never experienced before with any cold prior.
then the next year they came up with covid everywhere in the media. I never got covid after nor a really bad cold that could be said to be covid, I never had to go to a doctor I never had the vaccines and I've been around all people who've had covid. I think my body created its own defense against it without all the bullshit that comes with the vaccine that we know see young people with heart failure and so many other health issues that the vaccine has created
without vaccines, our bodies create it's own defense properties but with drugs and vaccines we make our bodies weak dependent on artificial things for help.
sure not all make it but there's a reason for that, just the same amount of people that would die naturally for not creating antibodies are the same about that the vaccine is killing as not all people who get the vaccine die. it's just the same, people controlling the world don't let nature run its course meddling with it and crating new diseases that didn't even exist in an attempt to "save" people, killing them while doing it.
now even using mosquitos to inject people so that even those of us who don't want to get vaccinated will have some human made shit in our bodies when they release the mosquitoes but brainwash us through the media feeding us the bullshit that "it's for the good of the people" "look how many people don't have malaria in this country " and such but they won't tell you the bad part about it how they caused infertility in that country for doing just that.
anywaythank you God for not making me be so sick I am thankful for that.

+1 yWhen I was about 16 or 17 I had bronchitis for almost 3 weeks, and that was the most sick I have ever been. It was so bad that it took all the energy I had in me just to get up and walk down the hallway to the bathroom. Even walking as little as 30 feet was enough to tire me out and make my legs want to give out. But the worst part was my breathing. Every breath I took my lungs hurt, and every cough felt like hot knives being jammed into my chest. It was awful.
I also used to get high fevers when I'd get sick as a kid. I hit a temperature of 104 degrees at least four or five separate times, and was in the 102-103 degree range more times than I could count. The highest temperature I ever had was 105.9, and I should have been in the hospital, but the weirdest thing was I didn't feel that hot in the moment and my other symptoms weren't that bad as they had previously been, and within 6 hours my temperature broke and was down to 99 degrees. I remember I kept taking my temperature every 20 minutes because I knew that was dangerously high. Lucky for me it broke.
I used to get sick all the time as a toddler, right on through to my mid 30s. I can only remember two separate times in the past where I went an entire cold and flu season without getting sick. I'd usually get sick once or twice a year, but there was one stretch in my early to mid 20s where I got sick three times each year for three years straight, for a total of nine colds and flus within a three year period. It was insane. Although, I was working with the public at the time, so that certainly didn't help things.I know this might sound ridiculous to some people, but I always attributed my getting sick so easily to the fact that I had my appendix removed when I was 2 years old. The appendix's function is that it holds healthy bacteria for the gut, and as some people may know, that healthy flora actually plays an important role in your immune system. I don't have an appendix, so I no longer have that reservoir that most people have that is beneficial for one's immune system to fight off colds and flus.
However, for whatever reason, I have not been sick once in the last 7 years, which is an absolute miracle for me. Never in my life have I ever had this kind of stretch of not getting sick before. I don't know what happened or what changed, but I'll take it! lol *knocks on wood... With as much as I have been sick in the past, I utterly DESPISE being sick. I'll take this streak for as long as I can manage it.

I'm glad we had medicine because I wouldn't have been able to probably move around if I didn't take it everyday. Like I felt so bad that I remember thinking "I really wouldn't mind dying right now."
My diet was bananas & ice cream sandwiches because my body made me hate the taste of many other things. All it wanted was simple, easy to digest carbs. This is because it was trying to avoid using many resources for digestion. And despite that, I still lost over 10lbs that week. Probably mostly from the trembling my body was constantly doing 🤣

u +1 yI was the same at age 20... even a cold would just last two days and it wasn't a big deal
but around age 24 or so... I just fell to the floor in excruciating pain lmfao... after years of eating poorly (and only twice a day) and drinking too much Coca~Cola my stomach insides ended up in very bad shape... no lasting consequences (luckily) though, I just had to change my habits to more normal and balanced ones, lol22 Reply- +1 y
yes... four times a day but smaller portions
also stopped eating street food almost every day... and Coke for a long while, lol
for the longest time I thought it would be "alright" as I was also quite active in few sports, so I would never gain any "bad weight" I didn't feel bad or anything... but during these vacations in which I stopped doing sports but keep eating like a dog... that got me really bad, lol

+1 yCOVID sucked. Norovirus had me in the hospital for a week. I almost died from a heart attack. The latter if that counts as sickness. That one wins by far.

I got ascending necrosis from the bullet they dug out of my leg cause a MF coated it with something, but that's like combination injury/illness since i wouldn't have had the illness if it wasn't for the injury so i figured that didn't count

+1 yIf you can call it a sickness.
There was once I got a serious infection in my leg due to chigger bites I got while doing my military training for a deployment. Due to scratching them it got really infected. I repeatedly asked the corpsmen to take me to medical but they brushed me off.
Till one night in the middle of the night I woke up feeling like I was in an arctic environment. Shivering uncontrollably. And woke him up telling him I was dying. I had a fever and my temp was 115 degrees.
The following morning I was taken to the medical facility and they said I was going into sepsis. And had I waited any longer I could’ve lost half my leg.10 Reply - 1.1K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic.
+1 yIt's a toss-up between pneumonia and stomach flu.
With one, it's a days work just to take a breath of air and it lasts at least a week or three. With the other, it only lasts a couple days but, you're freezing cold even if it's hot out and you HAVE to stay near a bathroom because you could need to take a power shit ala firehose at ANY second!! And it's best to be in a bathroom where you have a sink very close to the toilet because you'll be puking from both ends at the same time!11 Reply 4.9K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. My wife and kids were all sick. I was taking care of them and then I got sick too. I was so sick I was sitting on the potty and I passed out and fell off the toilet. I was afraid that we were all going to die. I thought about calling the paramedics.

but stomach flu is also terrible. Throwing up all day
31 Reply 2.7K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Probably one of the worst experiences I ever had in terms of being ill was when I had an ear infection once with lets just say pretty nasty water involved. The outcome was being bed ridden from the pain being so bad literally felt like a knife being stabbed through my ear into my head.
Probably one of the most painful experiences I ever had.
