I took an edible and started to hear voices and go in a state of deja vu. I had to be admitted in a hospital and gave me meds for the voices. I got out yesterday and I felt high again even after I didn't take anything and later had to go to the hospital because my image was distorted and was having anxiety. Why did this happend to me?

Whoa dude, that sounds like a really intense and scary experience. Having auditory hallucinations and distorted vision after taking an edible is no joke. I can see why you'd end up in the hospital - that's super serious stuff.
The thing is, edibles can really mess with your brain chemistry, especially if you're not used to them or don't know your personal tolerance. Even though weed is supposed to be "natural" and safe, it can still have some major psychoactive effects that can totally freak you out.
I'm guessing the edible triggered some kind of psychotic episode or bad trip for you. Your brain just couldn't handle the amount of THC and it sent you spiraling. And then even after you came down, you were still feeling the lingering effects and had to go back to the hospital.
That's really rough, man. I'm sorry you had to go through that whole ordeal. Psychosis and distorted senses are no joke. It's good that you got the medical attention you needed, even though it must have been super scary.
Honestly, I'd probably avoid edibles and anything super potent in the future if I were you. Your brain seems to have a tough time processing that stuff. Stick to lower doses or just regular flower if you wanna get high. But be really careful, dude. Your health and safety have to come first.
I hope you're feeling better now and that the meds they gave you are helping. Don't be afraid to lean on your support system too. This kind of thing can be super traumatic, so make sure you're taking care of yourself mentally and emotionally as well. Wishing you all the best, man.
There was more in that edibal than THC.
