Trending & News It seems people's mental health is just becoming an excuse. Life is tough! It was tougher years ago than it is today but back then you learned and were told you are not entitled to anything, you are not special and people don't have to like you. Nowadays, someone looks at you funny or you choose to subject yourself to social media and get picked on, you need to pet a 🐎 and need ten months of therapy! And to top it off, people will brag about it. It really is getting sickening and dangerous.
It was NOT worse years ago. 70’s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000’s were great times. Nowadays, it’s next to impossible to get ahead in life. People in general are just becoming ruder and shitter
Laughable! People were just as shitty back then but you were told, "that's life"! Like I said, no one is entitled to be liked, no one should be told "they're special", no one should feel the need to seek treatment because people don't treat them the way they expect to be treated. I did miss speak! I meant to say, things were just as tough back then but excuses weren't made.
They weren’t
I have read dozens of stories on here from people in their 50's, 60's and even 70's, talking about being bullied and struggling during their youth. Are you saying they are wrong? Life was never easy but people didn't need excuses for not being able to deal with it! They have all become successful and happy adults.
yeah for like the most part and why would they lol
a lot of people got their own shit to deal with and don't understand mental health that well, so i get it. AND some people use mental health as an excuse to drain the fuck out of you
Yeah… why be a decent person? What’s the point?
ideally yeah people should care about others, but it's not always that simple lol
I think for most people, if there are some random stranger, then they probably doesn't care about strangers mental health.
It can be easier to just not know about other peoples problems.
But if it's someone close to you, someone you really care about.
Then you're likely to care about their mental health as well.
@Kingofkings1992 Thank you for MHO.
Have a good day.
I think that most people don't. But makes sense because it's not very advantageous for the average person to concern themselves with this. One of the points of this world is to weed out the weak so that the strong may survive. It's the nature of our reality.

There's a big lack of empathy for mental health struggles. I've been struggling for years with postpartum depression, anxiety, ptsd. No one cares not even when a baby is involved in the mix 😒
The degree and length they care is really the question. They might have a 5 min limit before they go on to other thoughts.
Yes, it does seem that way.
