
I've been monitoring my weight recently, so I've been weighing myself every day for the past 2 months, almost always first thing in the morning, after getting out of bed. I'm a bit surprised that my weight sometimes changes by as much as 4 pounds (~2 kg) up or down some days, though it usually doesn't change by more than 2 pounds (~1 kg). On one day, I weighed 6 pounds (~3 kg) more than the previous day (I had a large dinner the previous night!). My weight rarely stays the same from one day to the next.
Since I weigh about 200 pounds (~90 kg), that's a 1-2% change in weight every day.
