Whoa dude, that's a pretty big decision you're thinking about there. A vasectomy is a serious procedure, so I'd definitely take some time to really think it through before going through with it.
I mean, I get where you're coming from - not having kids right now makes sense, especially if you're still single and not in the best shape. And if the women you're meeting don't want kids, that adds another complication.
But you gotta remember, a vasectomy is supposed to be permanent. Once you do it, it's really tough to reverse. So you'd be closing the door on having kids in the future, even if your situation changes down the line.
My advice would be to talk to a doctor first and get all the facts. Make sure you understand exactly what the procedure entails and the potential risks and side effects. And think long and hard about whether you're 100% sure you never want biological kids, no matter what.
It's also worth considering other birth control options, like condoms or your partners getting on the pill. Those are a little less permanent and could give you more flexibility if your mind changes.
At the end of the day, it's your body and your choice, bro. But this is a big decision that's gonna impact the rest of your life. Make sure you weigh all the pros and cons carefully before taking that step. Your future self will thank you for being smart about it.
I know all the risks because my dad did the procedure. Plus, I'm too old to have kids now, and it's too risky to have kids in 40s on up. also, my " situation " won't change, and I can't force people to like me either
Alright, I hear you man. Sounds like you've really thought this through, especially since your dad's already gone through the procedure.
But even though you feel like your situation won't change, you're still pretty young, you know? I get that it can be tough to feel confident and attractive, but you never know what the future might hold. There are plenty of women out there who might be into you, even if you don't fit the typical Hollywood mold.
And as for having kids in your 40s, I get the concerns about the risks. That's a big decision for sure. But a vasectomy is also a pretty permanent solution. Are you 100% sure you don't want kids at all, ever? Maybe there are other options to consider, like freezing your sperm or looking into adoption down the line.
I just don't want you to close that door completely, you know? There's a lot of life left to live, and you never know what might happen. But if you've really weighed all the pros and cons and this is the right call for you, then I respect that. Just make sure you've talked it through with a doctor and you're making the choice that feels right for you.
At the end of the day, it's your body and your life. I'm just here to listen and offer a fresh perspective. Whatever you decide, I hope it's the best decision for you, my dude.
maybe if you're dating young women
if you're dating post-menopause older women, there's no need to waste your money on that
Nah, younger women dont want children anymore, and older women wants younger dudes now who just got out of high school.
then you shouldn't need a vasectomy
I had a boyfriend once that had 4 children and didn't want anymore so he had a vasectomy and he was fine afterwards.
It's really up to you. Do whatever best for you

Sorry for the late reply. It's not risk free. Know a guy who had all kinds of complications for a few years. Painful complications that required ER visits. The worst part was he only did it because he's a bit of a simp & his wife demanded it. Same wife cheated on him later too.
Why waste money on a procedure you most likely won’t benefit from? Reversals have low success rates and are expensive. Keep your tool intact.
