Hello, I just 20 years old and in the military. Recently, I've been thinking about getting a vasectomy because I do not want kids. Well, currently, I am not sure if I will change my mind in the future. I never liked kids but I don't know. I want to see everyone else's opinion.

It IS REVERSABLE but it is a very big step. Its usually a man who has a family , and dosent want any more.
Plus in the future and want to get married, and your other half finds out , you have had the op. It could be enough for her not to marry you..

A friend of mine was adamant during 20's he'd never have a kid. Recently, now in his 40's, he's had his son who he adores.
Don't be rash. It's a big decision. Although they say it maybe reversible it is more difficult the further down the road you get.

I would advise you not to do so until you've already had kids. You say that you don't now because you're 20 and pretty much guaranteed to describe your current self as "kind of an idiot" in about 5-6 years.
