Is it normal for teeth to come out of the gums and then go back in all the time?

Serious this shit hurts. They come in and will be there for like a week and they go right back under my gums. I'm really starting to wish I just got my wisdom teeth pulled like most people did when I was younger. Anyone else that never got teeth removed that deals with this issue. Teeth that come in and then go back away?

I have a friend that had that happen. It actually came out behind one of his teeth! It started out doing exactly what you are talking about and then, about two years ago, it actually came out. It no longer bothers him, so he just left it. The dentist did X-rays and said he has another (impacted) tooth at the exact same location on the opposite side. That one is still under the gum line. I always pick on him and ask if he's part 🦈. 😂

yeah I'm starting to think I'm a victim of some sort of freak mutant genes. I think I know what your talking about... seen it a lot in Japan. Mine is just the Wisdom teeth way in the back of my mouth. Sucks because I'm like early 40's and I'm still cutting teeth I don't even need. I tried to research it and I gues I'm a neanderthal... it's enough internet for me for the day.

I've had one pulled. I have one under the gum that the dentist told me was absessed 2.5 years ago. As far as I know it doesn't come and go. It hasn't bothered me in 1.5 years.

It's just irritating. It cuts through my gums, just like all my other teeth, and then it sinks back into the gums. The teeth above them have come through like in my 30's and they just stay there, but those bottom teeth start to come in and then go back. It's like they start and then quit. Painful though which is the only reason I give a shit.
