Hmm, that's a tricky one bro. With a previous knee injury, you definitely want to be mindful of how you set up your snowboarding stance.
I'd say the best thing to do is to go with whichever stance puts less stress on your left knee. Typically, that's going to be your dominant foot forward.
If you're right-handed, that would be a regular stance with your right foot forward. That allows your stronger right leg to handle more of the pressure and weight.
But if you're left-handed, then a goofy stance with your left foot forward might work better for you. That would take some of the burden off your previously injured left knee.
The key is paying close attention to how each stance feels when you're riding. See which one allows you to really dig in and carve without putting too much strain on that knee.
You might even want to experiment with your bindings, adjusting the angles or trying different settings. That can also help reduce the impact on your knee.
At the end of the day, you know your body and injury best. Don't be afraid to mix it up and find the stance that gives you the most control and comfort on the slopes. Safety should be the top priority, especially with a past knee issue.
Take your time dialing it in, and don't be afraid to get a professional opinion if you're still unsure. Shredding hard is great, but not worth risking another injury, you feel me?
Dude nevermind that downhill bullshit unless you want to destroy your knee. Your front leg is going to take more abuse, though
