Should I be concerned about the BMI even if it’s wrong?

So I went to the doctors too days ago and my blood work is good for them it’s part, I just need to watch my chest cholesterol because it’s a bit high. I’m not going to good on my fitness journey and I’m mostly focusing on fat loss than weight loss but I should focus on weight loss. I’m currently 232lbs and the BMI said 34.32. I mean I’m not obese but I am overweight. I’ll admit I need to eat better and stop binge eating. I’ll eat less proportions or fast. I may try vegan style I tried ones but didn’t last. I’m tall so it doesn’t look like I’m fat but I am overweight so I need to lose weight. Straight up. I’m working out but I need to eat better.

Should I be concerned about the BMI even if it’s wrong?
