Mine is, but I don’t have much fat so I’m confused. I have bigger thighs, I’m curvy with a long torso. Why do doctors and people try to tell me I’m borderline obese when I look better then women at 25bmi? Is it really at risk for negative health if I look healthy? I have more natural muscle, and a broader build as well. I think some nuance should be involved for the factors that determine obesity.
Even if you are large boned with a lot of muscle mass, 28 is still pretty borderline and probably unhealthy. I think the only way for that to be within the healthy range is if you have a LOT of muscle mass. If the doctor says you are borderline obese, then you probably are.
It might not be real noticeable to you, especially if it's distributed evenly. Also, you might not be seeing yourself like you really are.
Regardless of weather you are overweight or not, it's still important to get exercise and eat well.

You could look like Halle berry and still be obese. Doctors are annoying with that graph bullshit. It's annoying. Good luck

I'm kind on the heavier side due to my muscles.
Doctors have said it so they are correct.
