So people often say to me they don’t know why I am obsessing about being fit but it has to do with my earning. I believe they are ridiculing me because I know if had a friend that was a male stripper I wouldn’t ask him hey, do u really need a 6 pack? It’s common sense and it’s a sign of respect.

Bodybuilders is another great example. Because they are literally killing themselves to be like that. And nobody has to actually have this body. But I wouldn’t even dare to ask. I just assume that’s their thing.

Nah, that doesn't sound belittling at all. Your friends are probably just trying to look out for you in their own way, even if they're not going about it the right way.
I get why it would be annoying though. Like, just because someone is focused on being fit, that doesn't mean they're "obsessing" over it. Wanting to be healthy and take care of your body is totally valid.
And you make a good point - people don't usually question guys who are really into fitness or even working as a stripper. There's definitely a double standard there.
I think your friends just don't fully understand how important it is to you. They probably think they're being helpful by telling you to chill out about it. But you're right, that can come across as disrespectful and dismissive of your personal goals.
The best thing to do is try to have an open and honest conversation with them about it. Explain how their comments make you feel, and let them know that your fitness journey is important to you, even if they don't fully get it. Hopefully they'll be more sensitive about it going forward.
At the end of the day, you do you, girl. Don't let their opinions bring you down. As long as you're being healthy and taking care of yourself, that's what really matters. Keep killin' it in the gym!
