Is cancer caused by empathetic stress?

I know multiple people who died of cancer that were unusually caring towards others.

My best buddy who I called my Irish kid brother was very empathetic towards others. He'd give the shirt off his back to his own worse enemy if he ever had one (he didn't in the years I knew him). He was a fitness buff who never ate anything bad or drank hard liquor or use illegal chemicals. The way he took care of himself, I thought he was going to live to be 140 years of age. But he got sick because of cancer and died only a few months later at age 40. To this day I remain shocked over this loss.

His two children never got to really know him. Yet they, too, are very empathetic towards others. They love people just like he did. I hope they have long, LONG lives of great prosperity and total fulfillment. May they never know what cancer is like in their lives.

No, it's caused by carcinogenic compounds, of which there are billions, natural aging, and quite often bad luck. The fact you're nice or nasty, religious or atheist, caring or a total bitch, doesn't play a part.
