Do you remember "pretend" cigarettes made out of peppermint sticks?

As a kid in the '70's, my siblings and I used to like those. Our mom eventually refused to get them because she was afraid we'd start smoking later on. None of us did. I don't know if they are sold anymore.

I sure do. There were also pretend cigarettes made of bubble gum. Little kids tried to imitate characters from 1930s gangster movies with them dangling from their lips.

I remember them as chewing gum sticks or chocolate sticks "cigarettes".

They were around when I was a child as well. They are still around. Saw them passed out on Halloween. They are the same thing now, just not called cigarettes anymore.

The ones sold at the corner store by my house where gum, with white sugary powder that you could blow off. Also, I loved the licorice, "Pipes" Black and red. There were marketed with Sherlock Holmes on the wrapper.

I remember them. I think lots of kids started smoking because of them. I doubt they are still sold.
