Well a lot of people that we meet tend to get into relationships with. My ex was a nurse and I am in the medical profession. So it's common and there are nice components they understand that work can take precedent and having to work odd hours and call and weekends and holidays. So it's a common thing. But there are pitfalls so not always. My friend married to a lawyer, one married to a speech pathologist, and only one married another surgeon. So take my experience for what it is worth.
