Should I get a filling on the front of my teeth?

Question

This is an important decision for me. I will whiten my teeth. Should I just whiten them or should I also have a filling? There are a lot of gaps in front of them.

@red-lipstick-girl I would not do that. I have a LONG dental work history, including crowns, implants, braces etc, and my wife is / was an RDA, so I am well qualified to give you some 'educated' advice.

Before doing that, contact an Orthodontist and have him look at your upper arch, and see if braces might close that gap between your 'upper arch - 'centrals". Your Centrals are large and putting some filler between them is not a good solution, maybe 'crowning both and closing the gap might be a good solution... - Pricey but, a filling is not a good solution.

Don't fill them. The slight gaps are very small, and give your face character. This is really important to keep

Night braces will be enough for this small gap. You will wear those braces at night and remove it for day.
Fillings will make your teeth bigger and yours aren't that small. Fillings on the side of incisors are problematic because you have to go deep into enamel to obtain enough adhesion. Such fillings have high mechanical stress and lead often to development of invisible caries by anaerobic bacteria. I wouldn't recommend that for a healthy teeth.

A sexy smile is always a wonderful thing however if your teeth are social distancing I say fix them, get them whitened & that would be a great confidence booster.

You have a beautiful mouth. If you're not happy with it then you can close that gap with braces in a few months, but I think it's cute

That's a very minor gap. I wouldn't have it filled in. An orthodontist can close that gap with your natural teeth pretty quickly and permanently.
