Why does everyone on social media seem to want or have same life/aesthetic?

Every get ready with me post/videos are the same. Gym, them making a vegetable smoothie, drinking water, skin care routine and they will say they have a stay at home job and they all end the night watching something on their lab top. That life seems acceptable and peaceful but almost unrealistic simply because everyone shows that they all have the same lifestyle/habits which is hard to believe.

The people who are able to post tend to have the space to record this sort of thing, that's all. Do you want to see me in my cramped little kitchen making my twig-and-moss smoothie with the aggressive squirrel casting a shadow through my kitchen window? I bet you don't. You LIKE seeing the well-lit enormous kitchen with the girl who snaps her fingers as each of the ingredients appears on the screen and then she shows you how to make it in her deluxe blender. It makes the process of consuming the twig-and-moss smoothy seem delightful... relaxing... and other-worldly.

Is the woman in the video perfectly happy? Probably not. She has a lot of time on her hands. However she's making an attempt to do something positive, so why shoot that down? It encourages others to post similar content with similar intentions... why shoot that down?

If there's positive content you don't want to see, just block it. Don't make it seem like a negative thing just bc that's how you choose to see it.
