So I am currently seeing my doctors and have other appointments scheduled as well. About a week ago I started to feel extremely off balanced in my head and it started to affect my memory where I could not remember what I had just read whether it be a sentence or a few words. I had never felt like this before and it just happened randomly and every morning that I get up the first hour after getting up I feel fine and can recall and remember things just fine, but after an hour i feel some really drowsy, off balance feeling in my head and then the memory problems start. I had an MRI done two days ago and they said that it came back normal. They don't know what is causing this and they are still just taking lab tests to see what will show up. Has anyone else experienced these kind of symptoms where you feel fine when you wake up but after a couple of hours you start to feel light headed, off balanced and drowsy as though you're drugged up on something and have memory issues?

As for being off balanced in the head you are not alone & as for you seeing a doctor that is the way to go especially if you are feeling drowsy & are having memory problems. As for you I hope better days come your way & hopefully your doctors get to the bottom of this bucket of clams. It’s possible you are having mini seizures or something along the lines of a stroke. As for you are you taking any medication because what you are experiencing could be a side effect to the medication.
In the meantime switch over to drinking water & see if that has a difference where it super hydrates your body & brain as well. Honesty it might be time for some life changes. Are you experiencing a lot of stress in your life? As for the foods you eat maybe you aren’t getting enough vitamins & you have a vitamin deficiency.
Hopefully your doctors can figure this one out.
thank you very much for this. i was thinking the same thing about making a life changes with diet to see if that works. i will definitely drink more water. i had a CT scan done and there was nothing stroke related. i also drank one of those wellness drinks or shots from a grocery store and it made me feel horrible and I always wondered could it have contributed to how i am feeling but the doctors claim that it would have been out of my system days ago.
This is a wake up call for you & start by cutting out sugary drinks & switch to water today. As for your Computed Tomography Scan a. k. a CT scan good to hear the results on that one. In addition did you have any blood work done & did you give them a urine sample? As for urine what color is yours? Is it on the lighter end, darker, what? Any headaches? When walking are you getting shortness of breath? As for your nose are you getting any mucus coming out when you blow your nose & what color is the mucus coming out? Clear, yellowing?
So far my labs have come back normal. My urine test came back normal as well. One time the urine was on the darker side but another time it was in between lighter and darker. I don't have any shortness of breath that i've noticed. I'm not having any mucus from the nose either.
I am also scheduled to see a neurologist in May
Every test is a step towards progress so be patient & when it comes to insurance just make sure the doctors & labs are in your network. Best of luck & keep us informed.
Thank you
You are welcome sweet thang.
I went to ENT they are going to do a balance and hearing test. In the meantime while I was waiting for all of this to happen I decided to just give an herbalist a try. So I went to an herbal shop in my town and talked with one of the staff there and explained my symptoms of the lightheadedness and the memory loss issue. They have me some herbal supplements and told me to try them. I take 3 pills twice a day and don't know it worked? It definitely took a lot of the drowsiness away and I can remember things again. I haven't told the doctor about this yet and not sure if I should.
Maybe visiting a chiropractor would help too.
I don't think you need an MRI and you surely don't need drugs
How's your diet?
I haven't had much of an appetite lately. Sometimes when I eat, even if it's just a small amount, I feel full and not hungry. Extreme loss of appetite i've been experiencing
Well there's a good place to start then
It could be a simple equlibrium problem.
