being in a caloric deficite but above your bmr while making sure you get the correct macros loses weight. all these trends of consuming one individual thing are mostly bullshit or do like 1%-2% improvement at best. hardly measurable beyond the margin for error. there's surely nothing wrong with drinking lemon water but it's surely not gonna make or break your weight loss.
