Only when I need them.
Advantage of having been married to a doctor over 20 years is I can generally see if I need to go and see a doctor. I just spent a week in bed taking mostly a paracetamol/codeine tablet (OTC) for the fever and drinking about three hive's worth of honey in lemon tea.
I'm diabetic and disabled but I'm getting healthier. Change to my diet has drastically reduced my reliance on insulin and I'm healthier than inve been in years - flu notwithstanding. Moving towards full carnivore
I take them PRN (as needed), and then only what I need to deal with the symptoms do have.
Rarely, and usually just a painkiller like paracetamol. I'm pretty sure the active ingredients in otc stuff is so low they're not going to work and they're mostly placebos and marketing. Not like they'd trust us with the good stuff.
And no I've not been tempted to take my sheep's ivermectin.
Daily for nerve damage pain. Doctor won't refill prescriptions for anything that actually fucking works.
