Can a hysterectomy cause you to bloat more?

I’ve noticed I’ve been more bloated since I had my hysterectomy and it’s causing a lot of pain and my stomach feels like a rock.

You're very you ng to have had a hysterectomy and if you're experiencing these problems and they weren't gone over by your gynecologist as side effects of the surgery, you need to get back to his or her office and be seen.

None of that sounds right to me.

If she never returns phone calls, perhaps it's time to find another gynecologist. That sounds like poor customer service after your having had major surgery. WOW!

Find another gynecologist. Ask friends and family members who they use. Or your primary care physician. You need to be seen by someone soon. Good luckl.

Yeap it can cause bloating and gassiness as a normal part of the recovery process. Bloating and weight gain happen especially if you are given antibiotics or certain post op meds too

Not on antibiotics or pain medication , but it sure is a nuisance whatever it is
