Would you get botox injection at a nail salon?

There has been a nail salon that has been giving botox injections and some of the customers have experienced Botulism from it. A) I always thought that only medical personnel can give those kind of treatment and B) Isn't Botox made out of Botulism?

I think the Botulinum toxin should just deactivate neurotransmitters in targeted muscle and decay before it will be absorbed into blood stream. I suppose if Botox is falsely injected intravenously and the dose is too high there will appear neurotoxin poisoning symptoms.
Maybe a specialist comes few times in month in this nail studio to make injection on several patients at the same day.

Probably unlicensed and illegal. The only unlicensed procedures I would have leniency on is if it were a dire, emergency situation and help was a long way away. For example, I was trained as an Advanced EMT but have an expired license. If I knew the person would die and I can confidently do more to save that person (like start IV fluids or use a piece of equipment only for EMS), I would do it.

I wouldn't get botox from anywhere. My pain management doctor gave me a choice of botox or cortisone shots to relieve my migraine pain. I chose cortisone. I haven't had any type headache since I got the shots over a year ago

I wouldn't get them unless I had relentless migraines.
But surely not at a nail salon. Too many germs and bacteria 🦠

I still think these places should be regulated. Even food trucks get regulated.

I would not get a Botox injection anywhere except for perhaps TMJ, and then by a physician using Botox obtained from a pharmacy. Botox is routinely used for temporary relief of spasming muscles that control the jaw.
