Do mosquito bites cause you severe pain?

It bit my hand and now it has a giant halo and the pain is going up my arm , I have several bites , but this is the worst.

Most often, I never even know they're there until a while later when they start to itch. One of the best ways to stop the itch is to push the edge of your fingernail into the bite right across the top. Push it as hard as you can stand for a couple seconds

I've never tried it for a mosquito bite but when I got stung by a hornet or wasp about 30 years ago, it was suggested I sprinkle some meat tenderizer (Accent) on it and add a couple drops of water onto that. The pain went away almost immediately.

Go to your local pharmacy and buy cortizone cream it usually does the trick for me but make sure you put it on after taking a shower otherwise you will wash it away.

This sounds more like a wasp sting than a mosquito bite. Are you SURE it was a mosquito?

Yes , cuz it itches and there’s multiple

And I would have felt a wasp sting as soon as it happened

Oh, well make sure you wear bug spray on your skin if you are getting bitten that many times.

Sounds like you might be allergic too. Can you take an antihistamine like Benadryl?

no you just get real itchy sometimes for a while, but it will go away
