I was talking to my doctor today, he said after marijuana became legal in Canada, hospital admissions multiplied 100 times over. Thoughts?

I have never done drugs because I'm Chinese and drug use is very uncommon in the Chinese community. I am also a Christian and drug use is very uncommon among Christians.

It isn't the drug itself that is causing the admissions!

It's what they do after taking the drug!

Cause you can't have an overdose when you take the drug!

Whereas other drugs you can overdose on!

And yet this drug is/was illegal!

It is one of a few drugs that was/are illegal for no reason!

Makes you think what else is illegal that shouldn't be!

Marijuana, like many drugs, lowers a person's inhibitions and they might do things they wouldn't otherwise do, and some of those things can be dangerous. That's why recreational use of marijuana, though legal in many states (but not the US at the federal level) is considered DUI if a driver has marijuana on them. Very similar to the alcohol.

I do know that weed causes a lot of people severe anxiety, and even panic attacks, so I’m wondering how many of the hospitalizations are related to those symptoms.
